It draws on preliminary work from the KoALa project and from Florian Hesse\u2019s completed doctoral project. From autumn 2022 to summer 2025, we videotaped a total of nine lesson series on Wolfgang Herrndorf&#8217;s \u201eTschick&#8221; (8th grade, Gymnasium). From each series, three lessons were filmed (introductory, middle, and final lessons; N = 27). In addition, we conducted interviews with the nine teachers and used student questionnaires. Two additional complete datasets are available for another school reading (N = 6 hours). Data analysis is currently underway.
